Right now, property owners have the opportunity to create a Hemlock Valley Resort Association that we control, with guaranteed and unrestricted money to put toward community priorities.

Vote YES!

  • Yes, to homeowners having the controlling & binding voice

  • Yes, to $125,000+ for us to invest annually in our community

  • Yes, to reducing reliance on resort operations

  • Yes, to accelerating improvements and results

  • Yes, to strengthening our community

What happens if the HVRA petition fails?

If the current petition does not pass, the Resort Operator can still proceed without us by creating a Sasquatch Mountain Resort Association that excludes current homeowner properties. That would mean no homeowner majority and no reliable funding for community priorities.

Petition Period: January 12 - April 12, 2026

 

Paper Copies: Mailed to property owners by the FVRD.  You can also download a printable copy here: 

Electronic Version for e-Signing: To request a pre-populated electronic copy, email info@hemlockvalleyresortassociation.com with the
following information:

  • Hemlock property address

  • Name and email address of each registered owner, or name and email address of authorized signor for a corporately-owned property

To ensure your petition is valid, the following info needs to be complete:

  1. Vote:  indicate "IN FAVOUR" or "AGAINST" by marking a checkmark or "X" in the appropriate box.

   2.  Property Details:  provide ALL of the following property information:

  • Civic address

  • Legal description

  • PID (Parcel Identifier)

  • Name(s) of legal owner(s)

Civic address, legal description, and PID can be found on the property tax notice or by visiting bcassessment.ca, entering your property address, and opening the property details page.

   3.  Signatures

  • If a property has multiple owners, a majority of the owners must sign.

  • Strata councils cannot sign on behalf of owners. Each owner must sign individually.

  • If property is owned by a company, an authorized signing officer signs on the company’s behalf.

 

Once complete and signed, return page 3 of your paper petition as soon as possible by either:
